Best Makeup Remover – Shiseido Perfect Remover
Once upon a time, I bought a waterproof eyeliner. I was so excited to use it that I didn’t think about how I’ll wash it off my face. That same night, after trying everything just to remove my eyeliner, I ended up with painful red skin around my eyes from all the scrubbing. I swore to buy a makeup remover as soon as possible. I went to the nearest Donki store the day after to look for one but there was so many choices to choose from that it made me so confused. Luckily my boyfriend was with me that time and offered to help me ask the saleslady what the best choice is. If you don’t know already, Japanese staff in stores are extremely helpful and really knowledgeable about the products that they sell. When my boyfriend told the saleslady about my predicament the night before and asked her which makeup remover is best to use in my situation, she immediately recommended us to buy the Shiseido Perfect Remover.
How To Use Shiseido Perfect Remover
Shiseido’s Perfect Remover is specifically made for eye and lip makeup. It can easily remove those waterproof and smudge proof eyeliners and matte lipsticks. It can also clear your skin of your face makeup like foundation, blush etc. For removing eyeliner, I suggest to first put a small amount on a piece of cotton, put it over your eyelids and let it stay there for a moment, maybe for about 5 seconds. This way, you can let the liquid work its magic before you wipe it away. Sometimes it only needs 1 swipe to remove eye makeup. I suggested to only put a small amount for the eyes because if you put too much, the liquid may enter your eyes while your pressing the cotton on your eyelids. You can add more to remove matte lipsticks and your overall makeup. Don’t forget to shake the bottle as well before opening it. If you look at the bottle closely, you will see some sort of division of its ingredients. Shake it first to mix it well to achieve the product’s full potential.
Elixir Facial Cotton
After grabbing a bottle of Shiseido Perfect Remover that the saleslady recommended, she suggested another thing that I should to buy. A good quality facial cotton.

The saleslady told us that this cotton is a little expensive compared to the others but it’s really soft, smooth and super absorbent. I took a chance on this one and I can say that it is worth its price. Whenever I use this cotton with the Shiseido Perfect Remover, not a drop of it goes to waste because this cotton absorbs the liquid and helps you spread it all over your face without it drying immediately. I have tried other brands of facial cotton and I can say that Elixir really has superior quality. The cheap ones would just absorb the liquid and disappear. You wouldn’t know where it went and it just feels like your wasting such a good product with an inferior one.
The photo above is an actual photo of an Elixir facial cotton pad. Notice how it doesn’t have a top part that almost looks like paper or tissue. It really is a superior product that will make the most out of your makeup remover or other skin care products. If you have the budget, then I suggest to try a pack of these perfect cotton pads as well.
