Japanese Eyeliners You Should Buy
If you are a girl (or a boy) who likes makeup and is heading to Japan soon, it would definitely be a big help if you start researching and saving photos of the products you want to buy before you actually go there. It’s not easy shopping for makeup in Japan especially if you have limited time for shopping and if you don’t know a single Japanese word. The makeup isles are flooded with different types and brands of makeup so it could be a little daunting if you’re just deciding what to buy right there and then. And one of the products that needs to be on your list is a good eyeliner. Japan has tons to offer and plenty of them are really good but here are some eyeliners I’ve personally tried and tested.
K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Real Strong Eyeliner – Pink
The K-Palette 1 day Tattoo Real Strong Eyeliner comes in a liquid type with a brush that you have to paint on your skin. If you’re used to this type of eyeliners, you won’t have a problem with this product. This eyeliner is easy to control because it has a fine brush that remains pointed. You won’t start with a thick eyeliner the first time you put it. You can gradually make it thicker as you go. It also puts out just the perfect amount of ink with every stroke you make. It also stays put when you start painting it and doesn’t bleed out. Careful when you scratch your eyes though, it’s a little easy to erase if you smudge it with your fingers.
It starts out with a light pink color on the first stroke.
The color gets darker if you paint another layer on top of your existing one.
It becomes a little reddish but it still catches attention whenever someone looks at your eyes.
K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyepencil
The K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyepencil is a 2-in-1 pencil type eyeliner. On one side you have the pencil that you can twist to push the eyeliner upwards. Be careful not to twist too much because it might break. The eyeliner itself for me has just the right amount of thickness. It’s also easier to apply than a liquid type but not as precise. It can be a little difficult to perfect a wingtip eyeliner if you’re a perfectionist because the tip of the eyeliner is a bit rounded and not pointed. You cannot sharpen it as well because it’s not a wood pencil eyeliner but it’s convenient because it never gets dulled. You can just twist it and more comes out.
The other side is the tip which you can use to smudge the eyeliner to have that smoky eyes effect.
Be careful about scratching your eyes constantly with this product as well because it comes off easy when you do.
This product comes in other colors as well such as brown and dark brown.
Jourmoe 3-in-1 Liner And Shadow
Jourmoe 3-in-1 Liner And Shadow might be the most convenient of all the eyeliners out there. I first heard about this product from my colleague. She told me about a eyeliner that comes with an eyeshadow as well. When I spotted this in Japan, no questions asked, in the shopping basket it went. Jourmoe has 3 other color options that if i’m not mistaken but on this particular one, we have a liquid type, black eyeliner on one side, a light pink eyeshadow in the middle, and a dark brown gel pencil eyeliner on the other side.
The liquid type eyeliner has a thinner and more precise stroke,
the pink eyeshadow is perfect for light makeup and has a shimmering effect and the
dark brown gel pencil eyeliner is easy to use and perfect for everyday light makeup.
