While I was searching for more reasons to buy Cefine Silk Wet Powder Foundation, I found myself reading more comments encouraging me to go for something else. While searching for powder foundation reviews and rankings, I found that Lunasol Skin Modeling Powder Glow ranked better than Cefine.
Where to Buy and Product Comments
I searched for Lunasol Skin Modeling Powder Glow on Amazon Japan. It’s more expensive than Cefine at ¥4,320 so I had to think twice if I should purchase it or not. I noticed that it has 4.5 stars out of 5. Almost all products from Lunasol has either 4.5 or 5 stars. I read some of the comments and saw that almost everyone who bought this product really liked it. I decided to buy it even if it’s a little heavy on the pocket.
Lunasol Skin Modeling Powder Glow Review
Again, I only bought the refill because it’s already expensive as it is. It doesn’t come with its own sponge as well. So I guess you’ll have to buy a separate one.
I chose the lightest color which is the OC01. It was a little darker than the OC90 of Cefine but this one really matched my skin tone.
It covers more if you put on more layers. I was surprised that it had more coverage than that of Cefine. I tried both without using any other products like BB or CC creams and concealers and Lunasol did a better job of hiding my freckles. It made my skin look balanced.
It’s very light on the face. Even if you put layer after layer of this powder foundation, you wouldn’t feel like you’ve already put so much of it. The powder is very fine as well so it really glides smoothly on your skin. You can really feel the difference if you compare it with other power foundations.
I wouldn’t say that it has a matte finish neither a dewy finish as well. It’s somewhere in the middle. It’s not shiny nor dry-looking. It just feels and looks natural. It doesn’t feel like the foundation overhauled your entire face. It will just balance the uneven skin tones and polish your overall look. It didn’t cake on my nose or on other parts of my face as well even after I sweat so much.
I’m already searching where else I can get this product from in case it runs out on Amazon Japan. It’s a contender to my all time powder foundation fave, the Shiseido Maquillage Dramatic UV Powder.
